Rapper Young Buck has walked free from jail after serving time for tax evasion and weapons charges.

The former G-Unit star, real name David Brown, began an 18-month sentence in a Mississippi prison in August, 2012 after federal agents discovered a gun at his Tennessee mansion during a bankruptcy raid in 2010.

He was recently rumoured to be released in late November (13), but Young Buck appeared to regain his freedom on Tuesday (01Oct13) and wasted no time in sharing a picture of himself on his blog, alongside the caption, "Fresh out!"

The former G-Unit bandmember was arrested in 2010 after authorities discovered the weapon during a raid on his Tennessee home during a raid to repossess his belongings as part of a financial dispute over more than $300,000 in unpaid taxes.

Bankrupt rapper Young Buck has been ordered to vacate his Tennessee mansion.

According to, the former G-Unit rapper, who filed for bankruptcy in 2010, was recently ordered to pay more than $300,000 in unpaid taxes by the Internal Revenue Service and was told to leave his 5,000-square foot home by May 16th.

Exact details surrounding the eviction are unknown but court documents from the star's bankruptcy case show the judge ordered the sale of the property in a bid to pay off total debts of $333,975.
