Xzibit Visits Juvenile Detention Center Down Under

Rapper Xzibit has visited inmates at a juvenile detention center in Australia to talk to them about his own experiences of incarceration.

The hip-hop star arrived at the Don Dale Juvenile Detention Center in Darwin, Australia on Thursday and he spoke to the youngsters about the time he spent in a young offenders institution when he was a teenager.

Xzibit talked frankly to the inmates and urged them to turn their lives around.

Stars including Katy Perry, Chris Brown, Demi Moore and Rosario Dawson have all declared their love for the internet phenomenon, which sees people posting online pictures of themselves lying face down like a plank of wood in unusual locations.

Flavor Flav, Ice Cube, MC Hammer, Bobby Brown and Lil Jon will join Charlie Sheen at the Insane Clown Posse's four-day rap and wrestling festival in Illinois next month.

Sheen announced he'd be among the presenters in an excited tweet on Wednesday, and now the full line-up has been announced.

Sheen and Flav will co-host the music and wresting event, dubbed the Gathering Of The Juggalos, while rappers Ice Cube, Lil Jon, Paul Wall and MC Hammer will join Bobby Brown on the bill.

The 12th annual Gathering of the Juggalos will take place at Cave-In-Rock, Illinois from 11-14 August.

Stars of hip-hop including Snoop Dogg, 50 Cent, Ludacris and The Game have paid tribute to rapper/singer Nate Dogg, who died on Tuesday after a lengthy battle with ill health.

The 41 year old passed away in Long Beach, California, in the early hours of Tuesday morning, according to his family. Xzibit Owes $959,523 In Back Taxes

Rapper Xzibit is facing a massive tax bill - he allegedly owes U.S. officials more than $959,523.

Internal Revenue Service (IRS) authorities filed a $22,196 lien against the hip-hop star in Los Angeles last month, marking the fourth tax demand he has received in recent years.

Last year, he was hit with two bills amounting to $640,972, while he was also said to owe $296,355 in unpaid income taxes in 2008.

The star - real name Alvin Nathaniel Joiner IV - has filed for bankruptcy twice, citing the cancellation of his reality TV show Pimp My Ride for his financial woes.

Motley Crue rocker Tommy Lee, Linkin Park frontman Mike Shinoda and rap group Cypress Hill were among the stars who joined the Deftones at a benefit concert in Los Angeles on Thursday night.

The musicians all took to the stage with the band in Hollywood to help raise funds for seriously ill bassist Chi Cheng, who was left in a coma following a car crash last year.

Rap superstar Snoop Dogg has been named and shamed as the latest celebrity indebted to the state of California - he's failed to pay more than $284,000 in back taxes.

The Drop It Like It's Hot hit-maker, real name Calvin Broadus, had a tax lien filed against him last month, which accused the rapper of owing $284,053.59, reports TMZ.com.

Rapper/actor Xzibit is facing foreclosure on his California home after failing to hand over more than $21,000 in mortgage payments.

The Hey Now hit-maker's financial problems were revealed earlier this month when documents leaked online showing he owed more than $500,000 in unpaid taxes.

However Xzibit's money woes don't end there - according to TMZ.com, bank officials have sent him an official note warning him his Woodland Hills mansion is at risk.

The website claims the hip-hop star, real name Alvin Joiner, is at least $21,403.98 in debt over mortgage back payments.

Rapper/actor Xzibit owes more than $500,000 in unpaid taxes, according to new documents leaked online.

The Hey Now star, real name Alvin Joiner, has had two tax liens filed against him in the past year by officials at the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).

According to DetNews.com, Michigan native Xzibit was recorded as owing $296,355 to the IRS on April 17th 2008, while a further $205,485 was noted in the Los Angeles County Records of Deeds office on February 4th.

Rapper Xzibit is mourning the death of his newborn son Xavier, who died on Monday. The host of TV motor makeover show Pimp My Ride - real name Alvin Nathaniel Joiner - was delighted following his son's premature birth on May 15.

But in a moving post on his MySpace.com blog, Joiner writes about how his elation turned to grief after learning his son's lungs were damaged.

Rapper Xzibit has lost his driving license and been ordered to pay a fine after he was caught speeding during The Gumball 3000 Rally in The Netherlands. Xzibit was stopped by police while driving at 100 miles per hour in a 60 miles per hour speedzone during the rally on April 29.
