The Wrens are an indie rock band that hail from New Jersey. Formed in the 80's the band consists of Charles Bissell, Greg Whelan, Kevin Whelan, and Jerry MacDonald. The Wrens debut album “Silver” was released in 1994 on Grass Records and received critical acclaim in the press as well as a strong fan base. The Wrens have been compared to bands, such as Spoon with their soft melodies, infectious instrumental hooks, and catchy chord changes. In 1996 The Wrens second album “Secaucs” surfaced, but following record label issues the band were dropped from Grass Records.
