Wreckers Star Jessica Harp Weds

Singer/songwriter Jessica Harp has wed violinist Jason Mowery just days after The Wreckers bandmate Michelle Branch announced the duo was no more. The couple wed at an art gallery in Franklin, Tennessee on Monday.

Mowery was also a session member of The Wreckers.

Thrilled Harp says, "Growing up, you and your girlfriends talk about getting married, who you will marry, the kind of wedding you want - today exceeded all of my expectations. Jason and I feel incredibly lucky to have such amazing family and friends to share this wonderful moment with."

The Wreckers Split

Country duo The Wreckers have split. The two-piece, ex-pop star Michelle Branch and Jessica Harp, formed the band in 2005, but have now decided to concentrate their musical efforts elsewhere.

Both are currently recording solo albums.

Branch says, "It was a lot of fun. But Jessica never got to do a solo record. For now, it's gone for good."

Michelle Branch's country band The Wreckers are caught up in a divorce battle as bandmate Jason Mowry's ex-wife fights the fiddler for child support.

Mowery left his wife Abigail last year after he fell for Branch's Wreckers sidekick Jessica Harp. Abigail was heavily pregnant with the couple's child at the time.

Mowery and Harp have since become engaged - something an excited Branch let slip during a show in New York in July.

And now Abigail Mowery is dragging her husband to court in October, claiming the fiddle player is in arrears on child support.

A man accused of stalking Michelle Branch was arrested at the singer/songwriter's Wisconsin concert on Monday night - after she spotted him in the audience. The new mom was performing with her band The Wreckers in Sheboygan when she caught a glimpse of 32-year-old Dominick Giordano and asked security staff to step in.

According to fans, Branch stopped the concert and said, "Wait a second. There's a guy in the audience - striped shirt and glasses - can somebody check him out?"

The Wreckers Make Music History

Michelle Branch's new duo has made country music history by becoming the first twosome in 15 years to top the U.S. Hot Country Songs chart with their first single. Branch's The Wreckers have hit the top of the country chart with "Leave The Pieces."

This is a first for a country couple since Brooks & Dunn scored a number one with "Brand New Man" in 1991. And they're only the second female duo since the inception of the chart in 1944 to hit the top. The Wreckers is a collaboration between Branch and longtime pal Jessica Harp.

Michelle Branch still has a hard time performing the song “Tennessee” with new singing partner Jessica Harp because it is a romantic ode to her brother. The two women recently formed country music duo The Wreckers and regularly have to perform the track, which is hugely popular with fans.

Michelle Branch has formed a country duo with her former back-up singer Jessica Harp. The new duo, called The Wreckers, will release their first album, "Stand Still Look Pretty," on Tuesday.

Harp had been pursuing a solo country career when Branch asked if she wanted to form the new group. Branch was 17 when she released her first hit, "Everywhere," and released her second solo album, Hotel Paper, three years ago.
