'The Voice' Singer Tells Why He Performed 'Happy' For Pharrell
This week on The Voice, Brian Nhira became the latest artist to perform a coach's song when he chose to audition with Pharrell Williams' massive hit single "Happy." His version of the song earned him a place on Team Pharrell, and Starpulse spoke to Brian afterward about what motivated him to cover a coach's song in front of the original artist - and which other coach his father wanted him to pick!

"I chose 'Happy' as my audition song [after] I saw an interview with Oprah [Winfrey] and Pharrell," Brian recalled. "It was after 'Happy' had been out for a little while and it was obviously just...

Watch: Adam Levine's Blake Shelton Impression Leads 'Voice' Seas
One of the biggest draws of NBC's The Voice is the unpredictable antics of the coaches, which are on full display in this new video featuring outtakes from the first week of Season 10 blind auditions.

Click here to watch what didn't make it onto the TV broadcast, including Adam Levine's nonsensical impression of fellow champion Blake Shelton that has Pharrell Williams unable to contain his laughter.

Not exempt from the craziness, Pharrell gets an invisible violin assist from one of his colleagues while making a blind audition pitch. Blake continues to take shots at Adam, surprising no one...

'The Voice': Adam Levine Reveals Story Of 'Low Five' With Pharre
As we get closer to the new season of The Voice, NBC is asking the show's coaches about their pre-show habits. In a video released on Thursday, Adam Levine explained the origin of the "low five" he gives Pharrell Williams after the coaches are introduced by Carson Daly.

Watch the video below to find out where Adam got the idea for the low five - and of course it wouldn't be an Adam Levine video without some commentary regarding his friend and rival Blake Shelton.

Both coaches will be entering their tenth season when The Voice returns on Monday, February 29 at 8 PM on NBC. Adam is the reig...

Team Adam is the first to conclude its battles, as Adam matches Shelby Brown against Amanda Ayala on Stevie Nicks' "Edge of Seventeen" in a battle of teenage singers. 'The Voice' Recap: The First Upset In Second Battles Episode
Tuesday's second battle installment of The Voice kicked off with an upset and ended with a steal, placing the first battle montage of the season in the middle. It was a mixed bag for coaches Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani and Pharrell Williams, and if you missed any of the episode last night, here's what happened.

Team Adam: Keith Semple vs. Manny Cabo, "Baba O'Riley"

This is not an easy song to sing; just ask season one's Beverly McClellan or season three's Terry McDermott. But it's the pick for these two veteran rockers and family men, as Adam needs to decide which one he'll b...

After this week, there's only one more night of blind auditions for The Voice. So on Tuesday, coaches Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani and Pharrell Williams are busy taking their teams from 'sort of done' to 'mostly done,' after the slightly creepy black-and-white versions of past artists stopped popping up.

Darius Scott opens the show with his cover of "You Make Me Wanna..." and turns three chairs, those belonging to Adam, Gwen and Pharrell. Darius goes to Team Pharrell, basing it on his high school experience which includes a N*E*R*D* tattoo. Also known as the one tattoo Adam doe...

'The Voice' Recap: Season 8 Blind Auditions, Part 3
It's time for the second week of blind auditions on The Voice, and with our coaches already having filled at least a third of their teams, this is usually where things start to get dicey. Season 9 is no exception. And on top of that, we have the show's first-ever marriage proposal. No, we're not kidding.

Firstly, here's a shocker: the episode does not start with a four-chair audition. Morgan Frazier gets on the show with her cover of "I Want You To Want Me" (how appropriate for this moment, right?), and turns both Gwen and Blake. Morgan being a country artist, she takes her guitar and goes...

It seems like the show is picking up steam, with the season nine premiere being business as usual for Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani and Pharrell Williams.

Longtime viewers know the show never starts its blind auditions off with anything less than the best, so after the coach medley it's no surprise that opening singer Mark Hood turns all four chairs. Despite saying beforehand he...

Expect A Big Surprise On The Season Premiere Of 'The Voice'

NBC's The Voice usually has one or two good surprises during the singing competition's blind audition round - but in the upcoming Season 9, the network is teasing an audition as "the most shocking reveal on The Voice yet."

Those are strong words, especially on a show that's had a few curveballs over the last five years. We've seen singers mistaken for the opposite gender, solo artists confused for duos, newbies who've gone on to win the whole show, and Pharrell Williams told us in our recent interview that he originally thought Season 8 champ Sawyer Fredericks was an older African-American...

How does one characterize Jamie Foxx? The best way to describe Foxx is as multitalented. He is one of few actors – an Academy Award winner by the way – who can convincingly play dramatic roles as well as comedic roles. Furthermore, Foxx is one of few actors who has nailed the ‘musician’ thing – he’s a classically trained pianist with golden pipes.

After a five-year hiatus between albums, Foxx returns with his most sensually driven lengthily titled album yet, Hollywood: A Story of a Dozen Roses. Has the 47-year old Foxx lost his swag? Nope, not in the least – perhaps he overdoes the ‘sw...
