White Stripes star Meg White is to marry her rocker boyfriend Jackson Smith, according to reports. The 34-year-old drummer is set to marry Smith, 27, who is the son of punk legend Patti Smith, on May 22 after becoming engaged to the star earlier this year.

The couple met last summer and will reportedly exchange vows at a ceremony in Nashville, Tennessee, according to the Detroit Free Press.

A source tells the publication, "They don’t want it to be a circus. They want it to be about the two of them.”

Quantum Of Solace director Marc Forster has confessed Amy Winehouse was his top choice for the new James Bond theme. Jack White and Alicia Keys eventually landed the job of writing and recording the coveted film theme, but Forster admits he always favoured Britain's troubled "Rehab" singer.

Celebrity DJ/producer Mark Ronson has confirmed he and Amy Winehouse are to record a new version of Lesley Gore's "You Don't Own Me" for a new Quincy Jones tribute album.
