Bryndle were an American folk rock band first formed in the late 1960s in Los Angeles. The original lineup included Wendy Waldman, Karla Bonoff, Andrew Gold, and Kenny Edwards (former member of Stone Poneys). Peter Bernstein and Dennis Wood were added for concert performances after Gold left the group in 1996. In 1970, Bryndle recorded what should have been their debut album for A&M Records with newcomer producer Chuck Plotkin. While it went through many revisions before being submitted to the record company, it was never released. Only a single, "Woke Up This Morning," written by Bonoff and produced by Lou Adler, was ever released from those sessions and it became a regional hit in nort... Continue Bio >>
