40 Best Songs Of 2015
It’s a tall task to pick the best albums in any given year, specifically when it comes to ranking them. Even more difficult is selecting the best songs as the music industry is much more record/song-centric than it was once was. Even when albums (exception: Adele’s 25) don’t sell, songs do. There were lots and lots of notable songs from 2015, so narrowing the list to 40 is an arduous task. As arduous as it was, here’s our best shot – 40 of the Best Songs of 2015.

1) The Weeknd, “Can’t Feel My Face” (Beauty Behind the Madness)

Adele or the Weeknd for the top spot – that was the question...

Face The Music: 10 Great Face Songs
Over the years, it’s amazing how many songs that have been written and became hits that share commonly used words in within their titles. Love may be oversaturated and cliché, but doesn’t society relate and embrace such songs featuring the word and central theme? Think of the colors and how many times they’ve fueled music’s flavor of the month/year throughout history. As simple as a commonly used word may be, it can be the catalyst for truly great music. In the case of this list, here are 10 great face songs. Why? – because all of the songs use the word face within their title. See, it’s as...

5 Seconds Of Summer Bests Carrie Underwood For No. 1 On Billboar
On the Billboard 200 this week, it was youth that prevailed in a race for the number one spot. In the end, Aussie band 5 Seconds of Summer scored atop the Billboard 200 for a second consecutive time with Sounds Good Feels Good. While Sounds Good Feels Good was unable to top the numbers put up by their 2014 self-titled debut album, the 192,000 units easily trumped the more modest numbers put up by Pentatonix’s chart-topping album last week. Of those 192,000 units, 93% were pure sales.

As disappointing as it may be for the once unstoppable Carrie Underwood to be beat for the top spot, Unde...

Selena Gomez Fends Off The Game For Top Spot

Selena Gomez Takes ‘Revival’ To No. 1 On The Billboard 200
Selena Gomez did it once again – debut in the number one spot on the Billboard 200. Enough folks were ‘revived’ by Gomez’s Revival to propel the pop artist’s fifth album overall (second solo album) to the penthouse. Overall, Revival impacted to the tune of 117,000 units, which is respectable. That said, only about 73% of that total (85,000 copies) is sales excluding streaming and tracks. Previous album Stars Dance was a stronger seller.

Even with Gomez padding her totals with streaming and tracks, Gomez would’ve still edged the other frontrunner for the top spot, The Game. The Game still...

Amy Schumer Plays A Dirty Teacher & Takes Hands-Free Selfies On 'SNL' (Watch!)

SNL
"Saturday Night Live" in 2015 continues its search for an identity, as the second episode of Season 41 is the latest in a long line of recent outings with almost no recurring segments. This state of affairs would seem to allow someone with such a well-developed comedic style like Amy Schumer to come in and bend the episode to her will. But it doesn't always work out that way. Besides, while Amy has an identifiable voice, she does not have much in the way of recurring characters, generally preferring to play variations of herself. She gets to do to that to a certain extent in her "SNL" hosti...

Funny, Scary, Cute & Corny: Check Out These Awesome 2015 Hallowe
It's that time of year once again where we all have to decide what we're going to dress up as for Halloween.

While most of the "original" costume ideas usually get all the accolades, current events and pop culture also play a big part in who's dressing up as who (or what).

There's plenty of fodder for coming up with the perfect costume this year thanks to current events like the 2016 presidential race (seriously, most of these people are scary in their own right), the Pope's visit to the U.S. and reality stars.

There's also a handful of animated movie characters that will be popular with...

Disturbed shocked the world this week – NOT! The popular rock band debuted at #1 for a fifth straight time with Immortalized, their first new album in five years. The numbers weren’t sexy per se, but the 98,000 units were enough to seal the deal atop the Billboard 200. Still, isn’t it a shame that no album was able to move 100,000 units for a second straight week? It’s not 42,000 units level of tepidness that Descendants endured, but still.

Disturbed weren’t the only debuts to land within the top 10 of the Billboard 200. Country singer Kip Moore quietly bows fourth with Wild Ones to th...
