The Biggest Boy Band Scandals Of All Time

7/4/2014 6:01pm EDT
The Biggest Boy Band Scandals Of All Time
While boy bands of years past have lived in a pure, pre-pubescent bubble, micromanaged by corporate fat cats determined to keep their sweet musical magic going and generating high revenue for record companies, today's singer/songwriters feel the need to break the chains of their predecessors and run forth with a new type of poster boys. Gone are the days when pure-unmarred skin, shiny teeth and sticky sweet love songs ruled the charts. Today's boy bands are pierced, tattooed and ready to speak their mind. But still, scandal continues to creep up around these money-making entities, who rely ...

Is it any wonder that boy bands continue to be popular with young girls?

(BTW: Boy bands aren't just popular with young girls. Women continue to stay faithful to their bands as they grow older, hence the popularity of the recent "NKOTBSB" tour featuring 90's sensatio...

Review: The Wanted, ‘Word of Mouth’ Is Conservative For The Most Part

11/12/2013 3:30pm EST
The Wanted
The Wanted Keep it conservative for the most part on Word of Mouth: You know, in some respects it sucks to be The Wanted.  Yeah, I know it sounds harsh and incredibly critical, but doesn’t it just seem that Britain’s other boy band trying to make a splash in America is say ‘two steps’ behind a certain band named One Direction?  Honestly, both bands are quite diverse from the other, but share common ground in the fact they both thrive on schmaltziness (just sayin’!) The Wanted did ‘do work’ with a notable, hella catchy no. 3 peaking single entitled “Glad U Came”, which oddly is reprised on T...
