Bobby VintonGreat Songs of Christmas Release Date: 1990 Running Time: 30:06 Label: Capitol Rating: ![]() |
Bobby Vinton's Great Songs of Christmas may be a little predictable -- apart from the interesting novelty "Santa Must Be Polish" and Sonny James' "Christmas in My Hometown," all the songs are standards ("Silver Bells," "O Little Town of Bethlehem," "Jingle Bells," "Deck the Halls," "Silent Night," etc.) -- but that doesn't mean it isn't enjoyable. The arrangements are a little flat and clean, but appealing, and Vinton's performances are all entertaining, which makes Great Songs of Christmas a good holiday choice for his fans.
