For the past seven years, the Honda Civic Tour (HCT) has been acclaimed as a "must see" music tour, and this year is no exception. Following the release of their highly anticipated sophomore album, Pretty. Odd., on March 25, Panic At The Disco will be ready to take the wheel as 2008 HCT headliners. They begin their nationwide tour April 10 in San Francisco at the Warfield (see all dates below). Jet And The Vines Join PETA Against Seal Slaughter

Aussie rockers Jet and The Vines have joined forces in a bid to end seal slaughter in Canada. Members of the groups have joined People For The Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA)'s youth campaign by signing a petition at Australia's Big Day Out Festival, calling for an end to the hunt, which is the largest slaughter of marine mammals on the planet.

This year's hunt is over, but the petition, which will be sent to Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper, calls on the country's government to put a permanent end to the bloody slaughter.

The Vines Finishing Up Work On Third Album

The Vines are delighted to report that they are in the final stages of mixing their third album, with the release date set for the 3rd of April outside the US of A, and the 4th within the States.

After spending the second half of 2005 writing, rehearsing and recording, the band commenced mixing with producer Wayne Connolly in early January, and will be finished at the end of the month.
