Once again, it’s time to look ahead to the upcoming year in entertainment. A long list of distinguished music acts will be releasing albums this year, with some great releases just weeks away. It looks to be quite an interesting selection, no matter your tastes in music. Here’s some of the music you need to look for in 2007:

50 Cent prepares his third full release, after an unsuccessful dip into the pools of the video game and movie industries.

Jennifer Lopez will have an all-Spanish album for her sixth release.

Axl Rose is taking his former Guns N' Roses bandmates to court to stop their back catalogue being sold commercially. The rocker filed court papers on Friday to gain "ownership of all creative works" by the band. The move comes after former guitarist Slash and ex-bassist Michael 'Duff' McKagan filed a lawsuit in August, accusing the flame-haired singer of trying to cheat them out of royalties.

Guns 'n' Roses frontman Axl Rose has promised fans the band's long-awaited new album is to finally be released this year. The wild rocker, the only remaining original member of the hugely popular rock band, has been working on LP 'Chinese Democracy' for the past 10 years.
