Rocker Scott Weiland has rejoined Velvet Revolver four years after his bandmates kicked him out of the group following a public spat.

The singer left the band and reunited his former act Stone Temple Pilots for a tour, leaving his supergroup to find a replacement.

After a series of near hires, bandmates Slash and Duff McKagan put Velvet Revolver on hold to concentrate on solo endeavors, but now it appears Weiland is back onboard following a reunion at a benefit concert in January.

Rocker Duff McKagan is confident his supergroup Velvet Revolver will have a new frontman by the end of 2011.

The band, which also features Slash and Matt Sorum, has been on hiatus since singer Scott Weiland was fired over three years ago, but bassist McKagan insists they're close to finding his permanent replacement.

The members of rock supergroup Velvet Revolver have inched closer to finding a replacement for Scott Weiland after Slash and Duff McKagan were left impressed by a potential frontman at a recent charity show.

The two stars and their former Guns N' Roses bandmate Matt Sorum recently jammed with the unnamed singer during a trip to New York and now bassist McKagan is keen to work with him again.

Rocker Slash has laughed off a stage invasion during a concert in Milan, Italy, on Thursday night, insisting he's fine but his guitar was broken in the fracas.

Rush has unveiled details of its upcoming new album, entitled "Snakes & Arrows." The renowned rock trio's first new collection of original material in nearly five years, the album will be released on May 1st.
