| I am posting on this because my daughter, niece, sister and I had the amazing fortune to meet Steven Tyler at a breakfast place south of Boston this past Saturday. We were very uncomfortble bothering him while he enjoyed his meal, but my niece got up the nerve and Steven could not possibly have been a nicer person. He acted like it had never happened before,which of course is ridiculous. He allowed pictures, asked questions about us, signed autographs. The "incident" had enormous effect on the kids and as a 40-something guy in radio who has played Aerosmith songs on my show almost every day for nearly 30 years, I was extremely impressed with Steven Tylers attitude, especially considering this surely happens everywhere he goes. He went out of his way to be a great guy, and while I'm not the type to be star-struck, the gesture was MUCH appreciated! | ||

| Finally someone asks what I think of Steven Tyler. I used to hold him in high regard. I met him in 2004, he was gracious, flirtacious, nice to my then 15+ daughter. He even made sexual inuendos. I saw him on several more occassions, each time the same, with the exception of the time he wanted me to go into a public restroom with him when we were in his hometown. I took my daughter and left; we came back to his hometown in 2007. Being a writer I offered to write his biography after being invited to send the request via the mail through a band member's mother. Within 48 hrs. of posting the letter, my now 18 1/2 yr old daughter and I were detained by the police for over 2 hours being grilled for what is supposed to be freedom to write. To make a long story short, Mr. Bad X@@##! fromBoston was scared of two whittle females and used his influences within the local Police Department to literally force us out of town. I lost every penny that it took to move up there, and then back, I lost a several thousand because I couldn't break my lease and was thrown out of a town we had grown to love. We didn't move there because of him, heck I didn't care he existed until my daughter who is a guitarist/singer told me about him. I didn't even know who he was on our first encounter until my daughter whispered in my ear who he was. I really liked him and respected him as a man and human being. But when you don't submit to his whims and fantasies he has you run out of town.He's cruel,I am proof! | ||
