Brooklyn's George Lewis Jr. released his debut album "Forget" under the name Twin Shadow in 2010 on the Terrible Records label. The album was produced by fellow Brooklynite Chris Taylor, bassist for Grizzly Bear. Lewis was raised in Florida after being born in the Dominican Republic. Later he moved to Boston before settling in New York. His sound relies heavily on 80's new wave and features synthesizers and drum machines.
