Tanya Tucker Teams Up With Elvis' Singers
Country star Tanya Tucker is to take Elvis Presley's backing singers on the road with her this Christmas. The singer will unite with The Imperials for four December shows, which are being produced by Elvis' former orchestra leader Joe Guercio.
The concerts, billed as "A Tanya Tucker Family Christmas," will include performances by the singer's two daughters and her niece. It'll be a family reunion that Tucker feared she'd never see after one of her daughters had to be evacuated from the singer's new Malibu, California home after wildfires threatened the estate last month.

Tia Carrere Is Back Home After Evacuation
Tia Carrere is all smiles again after spending three nights in a hotel praying that her fire-scorched home wouldn't be destroyed. The actress was one of many stars evacuated from their homes as wildfires spread throughout southern California earlier this week.
Carrere was told she was safe to return to her Malibu residence just before attending the Hollywood premiere of new movie Dan In Real Life on Wednesday night.

A truck load of country star Tanya Tucker's clothes and jewelry has been recovered after her ex-fiance drove off with it. Jerry Laseter reportedly stole the U-Haul truck containing the personal items last month, while Tucker and her entourage were travelling from Nashville to Malibu, California, where she is setting up a new home.
The empty U-Haul was later recovered in Las Vegas and the wardrobe and jewelry items were found shortly afterwards.
Laseter was arrested and charged with felony theft on July 28 in Las Vegas. He was released on bail.
