Kid Rock Apologizes For Smoking At Concert

Kid Rock has apologized to fans for lighting up at a smoke-free concert venue in Michigan last week.

The "Born Free" hitmaker was attending a Travis Tritt show in Detroit on Friday when he illegally fired up a cigar.

The rocker's behavior angered fellow fans in the audience and the singer has now taken responsibility for his actions, blaming his negligence on his alcohol-induced state.

He tells TMZ.com, "My most sincere apologies to the patrons I may have offended, and a big middle finger in advance to all the haters and attorneys who will somehow try to find an easy paycheck in all this...

Country star Travis Tritt is nursing his son back to full health after a freak boating accident almost cost the 12 year old his foot.

The singer was enjoying a day out on Lake Blue Ridge in Georgia with his wife Theresa and their three children on August 20 when young Tristan decided to take a dip in the water.

But the leisurely vacation turned into a parent's worst nightmare when Tristan's foot got sucked into the propeller blades, slashing his flesh to the bone.

American Idol judge Randy Jackson has called on famous pals like Mariah Carey and Joss Stone to help him turn a new album project into a big hit.

Carey and Stone will join Jackson's fellow Idol judge Paula Abdul and past show favorites Elliott Yamin and Katharine McPhee on tracks on the producer's new release, "Randy Jackson's Music Club, Vol. 1."

Country star Travis Tritt is suing his record label and its president for breach of contract and fraud. Tritt accuses Category 5 Records, on which he released his most recent album The Storm earlier this year, and its boss Ray Termini, of incompetence and denying him the complete creative control he was promised.

In legal papers filed in Nashville, Tennessee, Tritt also accuses Termini of exaggerating Category 5 Records' financial resources and its ability to honor its financial commitments, and of not paying him money for royalties and promotional travel.
