GMA Announces Performers And Presenters For Dove Awards At Grand Ole Opry On April 25

Toby Mac, Kirk Franklin, Mandisa, Take 6, The Crabb Family, MercyMe and Chris Tomlin are among the first performers announced for the 38th Annual GMA Dove Awards, today announced John W. Styll, president and CEO of the Gospel Music Association and executive producer of the Doves. Michael W. Smith, Brenda Lee and Bob & Larry from VeggieTales are among those slated as presenters.

Honored as "Group of the Year" by the 2006 Covenant Awards and 2007 Shai Awards, Starfield continues to garner accolades, becoming today's most awarded Canadian Christian band. At the beginning of the month, they received a 2007 Juno nomination, the Canadian equivalent to the Grammy Award, for "Contemporary Christian/Gospel Album of the Year" for its current, acclaimed album, Beauty in the Broken.
