Tilly and the Wall is an indie pop group from Omaha, Nebraska that formed in 2001 from the demise of a number of other groups. The group consists of Kianna Alarid on vocals, shakers, tambourine, recorder, and bass; Neely Jenkins on vocals, shakers, bells, and bass; Derek Pressnall on vocals and guitar; Jamie Pressnall on vocals and tap dancer; and Nick White on keyboards and piano. The group got their start playing at an open-mic night at the now defunct Ranch Bowl.

Tilly and the Wall’s debut album, “Wild Like Children” arrived in 2004 via Team Love Records. The album was met with critical acclaim from fans and critics alike and spurred a number of national tours with Bright Eyes, Rilo Kiley, and Of Montreal.

“Bottoms of Barrels,” the group’s follow-up album was issued in 2006. 2008 marked Tilly and the Wall's third studio album, “o,” which was released by Team Love Records. The band’s fourth LP, “Heavy Mood,” arrived in 2012.
