Journey's 'Don't Stop Believin'' Makes History

July 30th, 2011 7:20pm EDT
Journey
American rockers Journey have gone down in history - their hit Don't Stop Believin' has been named the number one single of the 20th century.

The group's catchy tune has seen a boost in popularity in recent years after the stars of TV musical Glee performed the 1980s track on its first season in 2009.

The band members performed live on the streets of New York on Friday as part of Today's summer concert series and they were presented with a special plaque to commemorate the feat, which was certified by analysts at media research company Nielsen SoundScan.

Friday was also a big day for ...

Tiffany & Debbie Gibson
Eighties pop queens Debbie Gibson and Tiffany performed on "Good Morning America" in Central Park, New York, this morning. The duo made several costume changes. We think Debbie looks best in red (see more photos below). What do you think?

The singers are teaming up for a five-date comeback tour playing some of their own classics and covers of other 80s hits.

The duo recently starred in "Mega Python Vs. Gatoroid" about giant pythons released by environmentalist Debbie Gibson that are counteracted and confronted by equally large gators that are fed steroid injected chickens by Tiffany.

March 3rd, 2011 12:00pm EST
Debbie Gibson
Debbie Gibson showed up at the "Take Me Home Tonight" Los Angeles premiere in a jungle-print half shirt and sparkly skinny jeans. She paired the look with green eyeshadow. The film is set in 1988, so we can see she's just paying homage. What do you think of her 80s-inspired fashion?

The 40-year-old pop star recently starred in the made-for-television movie "Mega Python vs. Gatoroid" about a crisis in the Everglades where giant pythons threaten the alligator populations.  Fellow 80s pop star Tiffany co-starred.

Debbie recently warned Justin Bieber to slow down on his rise to superstardom b...

'New Kids On The Block's' Jonathan Knight Came Out 20 Years Ago

January 30th, 2011 5:00pm EST
Jonathan Knight
New Kids On The Block star Jonathan Knight has spoken out following reports he was recently 'outed' as gay, insisting he has never hidden his sexuality.

The singer hit the headlines earlier this week after 1980s pop star Tiffany revealed he was gay in a live TV interview, shocking fans who had no idea he was homosexual.

But Knight is adamant he wasn't hurt by Tiffany's 'announcement' - because he 'came out' to friends and family years ago.

In a post on the band's official website, he writes, "To all my fans who have expressed concern: I have never been outed by anyone but myself. I did s...

80s Pop Star Tiffany Outs New Kid On The Block

January 24th, 2011 8:21pm EST
Tiffany
New Kids On The Block star Jonathan Knight has been inadvertently 'outed' as gay by 1980s pop star Tiffany.

The "I Think We're Alone Now" singer was promoting her new movie Mega Python vs. Gatoroid on TV show What Happens Live when she dropped the bombshell.

Show host Andy Cohen asked Tiffany if she had any romantic gossip about her former tour partners and she blurted out the news that Knight was gay, confessing she briefly dated the singer and may have been the one responsible for "turning him."

She added, "I had issues with that... but now, looking back when we were dating, he was so ...

Debbie Gibson & Tiffany To Do Battle In 'Mega Python Vs Gatoroid'

June 24th, 2010 2:11pm EDT
Debbie Gibson
1980s pop singing sensations Debbie Gibson and Tiffany will bury their pop princess rivalry to co-star in the new ripped-from-the-headlines Syfy Saturday Original Movie, "Mega Python Vs Gatoroid," which will go into production later this month for a scheduled 2011 release.

In the film, there's a crisis in the Florida Everglades as giant pythons are threatening the alligator population. Gibson portrays a fanatical animal rights advocate who frees illegally imported exotic snakes from pet stores, sending them into the Everglades where the pythons become mega-sized.

Tiffany plays an over-zea...

March 10th, 2008 2:30pm EDT
New Kids On The Block
It's hard to imagine that it's been 20 years since I wore my New Kids On The Block t-shirt holding a pink and black pocket rocker, which was playing "Hanging Tough" of course, in one hand and a sign saying "I hart you Jordan! Merry me!" in the other. Yes, I spelled it that way I was five years old. Even back then I was able to "get on the floor and do the new kids dance" at the outdoor venue in Tinley Park for my very first concert to see the best boyband EVER!

For those who don't remember or weren't born yet, New Kids on the Block was one of the most popular boybands to hit the music ...
