Miranda Lambert scooped up three of the top prizes at the 2013 Academy of Country Music Awards Sunday night, including Female Vocalist of the Year.

The singer bested fellow nominees Carrie Underwood, Martina McBride, Kacey Musgraves and Taylor Swift to win the award.

Grammy-nominated country stars Thompson Square have cancelled a number of shows following the death of Shawna Thompson's father.

The singer's dad George passed away on Thursday after a battle with cancer and the husband-and-wife duo has now canceled their upcoming tour dates with Lady Antebellum to allow themselves time to grieve.
