R&B singer Robin Thicke's raunchy new promo for his song Blurred Lines has been banned from YouTube.com after bosses deemed it too sexually provocative for the video-sharing website.

The Sex Therapy hit-maker recorded a clean and a dirty version of the clip with hip-hop stars T.I. and Pharrell Williams and released the adults-only video, which featured naked models dancing for the cameras, online last week.

However, YouTube executives soon removed the sexy film as it was in violation of the website's censorship guidelines.

The singer, who won the first season of Simon Cowell's talent show in 2002, is becoming a TV judge herself on a new series called Duets, in which a number of stars will head out across America to find a collaborative partner.

Robin Thicke has been arrested for marijuana possession in New York City ... this according to law enforcement.

According to law enforcement, 34-year-old Thicke was busted this afternoon in Manhattan near Madison Square Park -- after police claim they saw the singer lighting up a joint inside a black SUV.

Thicke was given a desk appearance ticket and released soon after. Calls to Robin Thicke's camp have not been returned.

Fun fact: Robin is the son of actor Alan Thicke, who played Jason Seaver on "Growing Pains."

Hollywood actress Paula Patton and her singer husband Robin Thicke are facing a massive tax bill amid allegations they have failed to hand over more than $492,000 in payments.

Officials at the IRS (Internal Revenue Service) filed a tax lien against the couple last month demanding payment for $492,583.
