Jack Black's band Tenacious D is set to team up with songwriting comedy duo Flight Of The Conchords for a comedy rock festival.

Black brushed off any hints of a rivalry between his band and Flight of the Conchords stars Bret McKenzie and Jemaine Clement insisting they would love a partnership with the pair.

He tells Rolling Stone, "We actually have been talking about joining forces, because we've always wanted to do a double bill. We're working on a festival, c...

I had to be sent away to the loony hatch. Just rehab. I was eating large amounts of marijuana in brownies......

The Best & Worst Of Jack Black

June 23rd, 2009 11:25am EDT
Year One
If only life were so simple as to allow enjoyable Jack Black be noticeably different than awful Jack Black. Perhaps the slightly thinner, slightly less beardy version of him could be the best version of him and the more unshaven and huskier version could be the worst version of him, or vice versa; something, anything, that would allow the audience to know what not to waste their time on.

Yes, if only life were this simple.

Sadly, it's not, otherwise I would not have recently lost 97 minutes of my life to Black's latest film, "Year One". While having its moments coming mainly fro...

1. Audioslave: Audioslave caused quite a hype when they first came together. The band consisted of former Soundgarden frontman, Chris Cornell, and former Rage Against the Machine guitarist, Tom Morello, so for anyone who was a...
