t.A.T.u star sued by ex-manager

Russian pop star Lena Katina is facing a lawsuit over allegations she breached a contract by firing her manager.

The t.A.T.u singer's manager Tristram Buckley claims he was the driving force behind a reunion between Katina and her bandmate Yulia Volkova in celebration of the 10th anniversary of their huge hit All The Things She Said last year (12).

He accuses the star of wrongfully terminating his contract, and is demanding at least $20 million (£12.9 million) in damages. Buckley is suing for fraud, breach of contract and defamation.

The previous record holder for a female artist was Lady Gaga's hit "Just Dance," which sold 419,000 in one week. What a coincidence that both have talked about or alluded to being bisexual.

Actress Mischa Barton has fueled reports she is unhappy with her new movie You And I, after reportedly refusing to promote it.

The former The O.C. star initially sparked rumors of her dissatisfaction when she failed to attend the film's premiere at the Cannes Film Festival in France earlier this month. She insisted she "was never due to go", but now You And I director Roland Joffe cannot locate Barton in London to complete promo duties in the British capital.

t.A.T.u. star Yulia Volkova is a mom again after giving birth to a son. The elfish singer welcomed her second child into the world early on Thursday in her native Russia.

In a posting on the t.A.T.u. website, a representative for the singer reports, "The birth went fast and without any difficulties. Both mother and baby feel good."

Volkova, 22, already has a three-year-old daughter.

Russian Pop Star Lazarev Condemns Gay Pride Violence

Russian pop star/actor Sergey Lazarev has leaped to the defense of victims of Moscow's ill-fated Gay Pride Parade, calling for greater tolerance in his native country. Former Right Said Fred stars Richard and Fred Fairbrass were assaulted, among others, at the event last month when their march was intercepted by a mob of homophobic extremists.

Egg-throwers also pelted Yulia Volkova and Lena Katina from Russian pop group t.A.T.u., who have since publicly condemned the way the incident was handled by local authorities.

T.A.T.U. star Yulia Volkova is pregnant with her second child, her pop pal Sergey Lazarev reveals. The 22-year-old already has a two-year-old daughter, Viktoria Pavlovna, from a previous relationship and is said to be desperate for a son with her new partner, businessman Parviz.

Singer/actor Lazarev confirms, "Yes, she's pregnant, she told me a few weeks ago. She's expecting at Christmas. I'm really excited for her. Motherhood has really changed her. When she gave birth to Viktoria she suddenly grew up and calmed down. She's a lot more mature now."

Russian pop duo t.A.T.u. have inspired a new film starring actress Mischa Barton. The O.C. beauty, currently on location in the singers' native country, plays an American girl from New York in Finding t.A.T.u., who bonds with Lana, a Russian girl, over their shared obsession for the girl group, according to Moviehole.net.

t.A.T.u. formed in 1999. Stars Lena Katina and Yulia Volkova have since become the most successful international recording act from Russia.
