Suicide Silence is an American extreme metal band formed in 2002 in Riverside, California. The group consists of vocalist Mitch Lucker, guitarists Chris Garza and Mark Heylmun, drummer Alex Lopez and bassist Dan Kenny.

The band’s debut album, “The Cleansing,” was released in 2007 through Century Media Records. It peaked at #94 on the Billboard 200 Albums chart.

“No Time to Bleed,” the band’s second full-length album, was released in 2009 via Century Media. It was a success, reaching #32 on the Billboard 200.

In 2011 they released “The Black Crown” their third studio album. It was produced by Steve Evetts and is the last release by the band required to be issued through Century Media per the three-album contract the band accepted to in 2007. The album peaked at #28 on the Billboard 200.
