Steven Tyler Approves 'Walk This Way' Cover

Singer Steven Tyler approves of the latest cover of Aerosmith's hit Walk This Way, performed by the Sugababes and Girls Aloud at Comic Relief. The rock band reworked their original 1975 song with Run DMC in 1986. The British girl group's cover of the song went to number one in the UK and raised thousands of pounds for the charity event aimed at helping poor children in Africa and Britain.

Tyler says, "It was done from their heart for a good cause. And the video - a bunch of hotties shaking their asses? That was cool."

Arctic Monkeys' front man Alex Turner has a crush on Sugababe Amelle Berrabah. The I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor hit maker admits he has an eye on the latest member of the British girl group. He says, "I quite like the newest one. Very impressed. We met them a couple of times but never chatted. We're dead shy."

However Turner is also smitten by a far bigger pop sensation, adding, "I've always been a fan of Beyonce. I love her. She's got a bit up there, I reckon."

Rihanna Keeps Top Spot In UK Chart

R&B singer Rihanna has kept the top spot in the U.K. charts for the third week running. The singer saw off strong competition from former Sugababe Mutya Buena - whose single "Real Girl" climbed from number seven to number two - to keep the number one position in yesterday's chart.

Beyonce and Shakira's "Beautiful Liar" was at number three, while "Here In Your Arms" by Hellogoodbye and Maroon 5's "Makes Me Wonder" rounded off the top five.

The highest entry was by rising British guitar band the Twang with the song "Either Way," which went straight in at number eight.

Sugababe Keisha Buchanan is trying to make peace with her former bandmate Mutya Buena after colleagues Heidi Range and Amelle Berrabah quarreled with the British singer. Berrabah took over from original group member Buena when she left to pursue a solo career in 2005, but the two fell out when Buena accused her replacement of copying her look last week.

Original Sugababes member Siobhan Donaghy insists the pop group never experimented with drugs during their early days of fame because their parents were always around.

Donaghy, Keisha Buchanan and Mutya Buena were aged 15 and 16 when the group leaped to fame in 2000 with their debut song Overload, but managed to steer clear of narcotics within the music industry.

Donaghy says, "We never got into it because our moms were there."

The redhead star quit the band in 2001 and has since started a solo career.

Sugababes are the latest British girl group to have their own Barbie dolls. The trio - Keisha Buchanan, Heidi Range and Amelle Berrabah - follow in the footsteps of Girls Aloud, who they are currently teamed up with in the UK charts with Walk This Way.

Each band member will have a Barbie doll modeled on her. A spokeswoman for toy manufacturer Mattel says, "This collaboration will bring another band into the Barbie portfolio, building on the success we had with Girls Aloud."

Singer Mutya Buena left English girl group Sugababes because she was suffering from post-natal depression. Buena, who releases her debut solo album later this year, quit the pop trio in December 2005 to spend time with her baby Tahlia Maya.

Sugababes singer Amelle Berrabah has been reunited with boyfriend Freddie Fuller - a month after he was arrested for the alleged rape of her younger sister.

Samiyah Berrabah, 20, was allegedly attacked in a home on a travelers' site in Surrey, England, in January. Fuller, 24, and three friends, including Samiyah's ex-boyfriend John Carny, 22, were arrested on February 4 on suspicion of serious sexual assault.
