Steve Mason is a Scottish musician, best known as the lead singer and one of the founding members of The Beta Band. Both prior to and after 2004 The Beta Band split in 2004, Mason released music with his solo project King Biscuit Time, as well as new projects Black Affair and Good Face. As King Biscuit Time, Mason issued the EPs, “Sings Nelly Foggits Blues in ‘Me and the Pharaohs’” in 1998 and “No Style,” in 2000. The King Biscuit Time album, “Black Gold,” was released in 2006. He released the album, “Pleasure Pressure Point,” as Black Affair in 2008. In May 2010, he released the first record under his given name, entitled “Boys Outside.” A second LP, “Monkey Mind...
