Paul Stanley Stands By Comments About Peter Criss And Ace Frehle
KISS frontman Paul Stanley made his thoughts clear about the band's upcoming induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, calling it all "fluff" and "a farce."

"It's like an Addams Family bar mitzvah," he told CBS This Morning on Tuesday. "I'm gonna go, but let's not kid ourselves, you know. That's not the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame. The Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame is walking the streets...

"I see it as dubious. We are the bitter pill that they ultimately had to swallow. Because they don't like us. And the only reason they're inducting us is because they begin to look foolish at some poi...

April 8th, 2014 3:10am EDT
Ace Frehley
Guitarist Ace Frehley is confident Thursday's (10Apr14) KISS reunion at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will be a harmonious affair, despite the bandmates' public attacks of each other.

He'll join founding members Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons and bandmate Peter Criss, alongside the group's current drummer and guitarist and another ex-member, Bruce Kulick, for the honour in New York - and he insists the group's big night won't become a big drama, no matter what they've said about each other in memoirs and interviews.

He tells VH1, "We say good things about each other and w...

Seven KISS stars invited to Hall of Fame gala

April 2nd, 2014 3:10am EDT
Seven of the surviving members of rock group Kiss will reunite at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame - if only to sit at the same table.

Band founders Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley pulled out of a performance at the induction ceremony this month (Apr14) after learning that their current bandmates Tommy Thayer and Eric Singer would not be honoured by Hall of Fame officials, who simply wanted to salute the group's original line-up.

Now Simmons tells Rolling Stone magazine that he and Stanley have invited Singer and Thayer to sit at their table during the ceremony on 10 April (14), along with guit...

March 28th, 2014 4:10am EDT
Corey Taylor
Slipknot star Corey Taylor has taken aim at his Kiss heroes for allowing past dramas to upset one of the band's biggest nights at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony.

Like many KISS fans, Taylor was looking forward to seeing the band perform at the prestigious event next month (Apr14), but founders Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons have decided not to play live after learning museum bosses had no plans to honour their current bandmates.

Instead, only ex-band members Peter Criss and Ace Frehley will be inducted alongside the longtime KISS stars, and Stanley and Simmons have refus...

Paul Stanley And Gene Simmons Announce That KISS Won't Perform During Hall Of Fame Induction Ceremony

February 23rd, 2014 10:40pm EST
KISS stars Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons have decided that since they can't please all the former members of the band and come up with a performance lineup for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony in April, they won't perform at all.

"Our intention was to celebrate the entire history of KISS and give credit to all members including long time present members Tommy Thayer and Eric Singer, and additionally Bruce Kulick and Eric Carr all who have made this band what it is, regardless of the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame's point of view," Stanley and Simmons wrote in a letter on the ban...

KISS will not perform at Hall of Fame ceremony

February 23rd, 2014 8:30pm EST
Rockers Kiss have pulled the plug on a performance at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony in April (14), because the original bandmates can't find a way to work together.

Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons reportedly cannot agree on which line-up should perform during the 10 April (14) ceremony in New York City, and so they've opted not to play at all.

The news comes just days after frontman Stanley revealed he is unimpressed with the band's upcoming induction - because he believes Hall of Fame executives voted the rockers in "begrudgingly".

The singer and his bandmates are part o...

Fashion Fails: Kimberly Wyatt, Asa Butterfield, John Legend, More

October 13th, 2013 3:07pm EDT
Kimberly Wyatt
It's Fashion Fail Time! That means we take a break from letting you know how good all of your favorite stars look to show the other side of fashion: the fails!

Kimberly Wyatt wore this mishmash dress to the Pride of Britain awards, but there's no pride in wearing such a bizarre outfit. Her purse looks like a glittery Christmas card, on top of it all.

Ashley Roberts wore this questionable pair of overalls featuring a repeated face of a lion. One would think she was going for a Goth look with her black nails, but she retains her light hair and paints her lips a shocking red.

If it ...

Gene claims one of the leisure activities on offer to paying passengers is a ceremony celebrating Hell-dweller Beelzebub - who, according to the Christian faith, is an evil fallen angel who rebelled against God and wishes to lead humanity aw...

This year's induction ceremony includes Guns N' Roses, Beastie Boys and the Red Hot Chili Peppers - and the decision to omit the legendary '70s rockers yet again rankles with the band.

Simmons tells Rolling Stone magazine, "It's become a joke. We've been thinking about it and the answer is simply, 'We'll just buy it and fire everybody.' In all seriousness for the fans, for something to be called Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is such an insult to Mado...
