Albums Featuring Numbers in Their Titles

11/1/2015 2:00pm EST
Albums Featuring Numbers in Their Titles, Since 2000
Ah, what’s in an album title? A lot, depending on the respective album. In the case of the albums that grace this list, numbers play a role in the title and in some cases have significance. In other cases, the numbers are merely an easy way to keep up with the album number. Regardless, here’s a list of albums featuring numbers in their title – all since 2000 – and the meaning of the album’s title.

1) All of Adele's albums

Pop superstar Adele seems to love numbers, particularly her ages. All three of Adele’s studio albums (19, 21, and 25) all feature numbers in the title. While it might ...

Staind Singer Aaron Lewis Apologizes After Flubbing National Anthem During World Series

10/27/2014 4:40pm EDT
Aaron Lewis
Staind singer Aaron Lewis performed the National Anthem at the World Series game between the San Francisco Giants and Kansas City Royals on Sunday evening, and he did about as well as the Royals did against Giants starting pitcher Madison Bumgarner.

The rocker-turned-country singer botched "The Star-Spangled Banner" pretty badly during the pre-game ceremony at AT&T Park in San Francisco, Calif., by mixing up several of the song's lyrics.

Lewis was left devastated by his gaffe and posted a heartfelt apology on his blog and facebook pages, writing, "All I can say is I'm sorry and ask for th...

Lead Singer Of Staind Calls-Out Concert Goers For Molesting A 15

Lead singer of hard rock band Staind, Aaron Lewis stopped a concert mid-song to call out some handsy concert attendees who were getting out of control with a young crowdsurfer.

The girl, reportedly 15 was being groped by older men as she crowd surfed around the pit of the stage. Lewis spotted it and decided that it was his responsibility to step in.

"Alright, listen up, you f**king a**holes. That f**king girl right there is, like, 15 f**king years old and you f**king pieces of sh*t are molesting her while she's on the f**king crowd. Your f**king mothers should be as...

Staind Documentary Was Painful To Make

10/15/2011 2:33pm EDT
Rockers Staind documented the making of their latest album on film because they knew the recording sessions would make for great drama.

The band almost broke up during the tense recording process and drummer Jon Wysocki quit - but frontman Aaron Lewis admits he's glad they captured it all on film, even if parts are "painful" for him to watch.

He says, "It's kinda like (Metallica documentary) Some Kind of Monster on steroids... When I see it, I realise how much of a perfectionist I can be in the studio. If I hear something a certain way, I push and push and push until it comes out that way...

CD Review: Transformers: Dark of the Moon Movie Soundtrack

7/13/2011 4:12pm EDT
The Transformers movie soundtrack has become as ballyhooed as its big screen counterpart through the years, and the latest, and perhaps final, installment of said sonic accompaniment is no different, living up to the hype with each passing track. This time around on the Transformers: Dark of the Moon soundtrack, some of the faces are the same, but as with its two predecessors, this compilation does not disappoint at any turn.

Speaking of familiar faces, Linkin Park returns to the Transformers soundtrack, anchoring the Transformers: Dark of the Moon soundtrack with “Iridescent,” off their 2...

Then in June 2007, frontman Charlton Parker wrote the hooky, tongue-in-cheek song "Hail to the Geek" about his nerdy hobbies and awkwardness with girls.

Originally, Parker had no plans to record the number, but when his band mates heard it, they convinced him to track it with them. After a few hours in the studio, Deaf Pedestrians emerged with an undeniable cut that's catchy, funny, spirited and endearingly wi...
