British singer Kate Nash suffered a "breakdown" on her last tour after she began drinking too much. The Foundations hit-maker admits she began to experience emotional problems during a six-week tour of America in 2008, and started consuming more alcohol in a bid to bury her feelings.

Regina Spektor Fine After Health Scare

Singer/songwriter Regina Spektor is "feeling much better" just days after collapsing before her scheduled performance in Nashville, Tennessee. Spektor was forced to pull out of the concert at the Ryman Auditorium after a "severe inner-ear infection caused a sudden case of vertigo."

According to her spokesman Steven Trachtenbroit, Spektor is recovering well after canceling a second show on Thursday night.

He tells New York gossip column PageSix, "Regina is feeling much better."

Singer/songwriter Regina Spektor was rushed to hospital on Wednesday night after collapsing shortly before her scheduled performance in Nashville, Tennessee.

Officials at the city's concert venue Ryman Auditorium announced nearly 10 minutes after the Russian-born Fidelity singer was due to take the stage that Spektor was being held by doctors at a local hospital for observation.

John Cusack is so impressed by the talents of musician Regina Spektor he wants to cast her in his next movie. The star confesses he is a big fan of the Russian-born singer's music and is hoping to persuade her to star in a future film.

Beirut, Bonnie "Prince" Billy, Cat Power, Tom Waits and Regina Spektor make up half of the finalists for this year's Shortlist Music Prize. The top 10 albums were narrowed down from an initial list of 61 for the prizegiving, which will take place in Los Angeles at a date and venue to be decided.

The Shortlist Music Prize, the equivalent to Britain's Mercury Music Prize, returns this year after a year off.

The prize is given to the artist who recorded the best album which has yet to sell 500,000 units in the United States.

Superfly Productions and A.C. Entertainment are proud to announce the initial lineup for the 2007 Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival.
