 Horace SilverSilver 'n Voices Release Date 1976 Label Blue Note Rating:  Horace Silver, a brilliant composer of funky melodies, was never that strong a lyricist despite his good intentions. For this set (following the Silver 'N Brass and Silver 'N Wood sessions), the pianist's quintet (featuring trumpeter Tom Harrell and tenorman Bob Berg) is joined by six voices under the direction of Alan Copeland.
