Shadows Fall Tour Bus Catches Fire

Heavy metal band Shadows Fall had a brush with danger when their tour bus caught fire as they were heading to a concert in Kentucky on Monday night.

The rockers were travelling to a show in Lexington-Fayette as part of their Party To The Apocalypse 2012 tour when flames broke out in the undercarriage of the coach, causing the passengers on board to abandon the vehicle and flee to safety.

Emergency crews attended the scene but no one was injured in the incident. It is believed the fire was caused by a faulty generator.

Wind-up Records and IMG Media have announced the release of the inaugural soundtrack for The World's Strongest Man franchise, airing on 2. The title will be available exclusively through Amazon upon release.

Mandeville, Louisiana-based quartet 12 Stones, signed to Wind-up Records, was filmed recently in Baton Rouge. The footage will be cut into the program to their song "Adrenaline" as the opener of each episode this season. Atlantic recording artist Shadows Fall has received a Grammy nomination for Best Metal Performance for the song "Redemption" off their critically acclaimed label debut, Threads Of Life.

Clearly a leader in their genre, this marks the band's second Grammy nomination in the category, following their nod at the 2006 awards for "What Drives The Weak" off of their Century Media release, The War Within.
