Gary Noon Meets His Music Heroes On 'Walking With Giants' EP

September 19th, 2013 2:05pm EDT
Gary Noon
Gary Noon is living every music fan's dream. The guitarist and vocalist originally aimed to start a tribute band, and instead ended up collaborating with members of the two bands he was going to play in tribute to. How cool is that? Gary recently sat down with BFTV to answer that question, as well as give us the full inside scoop on the newly available Walking with Giants EP.

The record is the culmination of Gary's almost lifelong journey with music. "I started playing guitar when I was 18. I'm 43 now. So it could be considered a long time," he explained. "I started in high school. Almost ...

Tommy Lee
Tommy Lee will miss three more Motley Crue gigs as he waits for his wounded hand to heal - the rockers have recruited another replacement drummer for their upcoming shows.

Lee scorched his hand while playing with sparklers earlier this month and was sidelined for a string of concerts with Sevendust star Morgan Rose stepping in to help.

Rose's last show came at the Crue Fest 2 concert in Mansfield, Massachusetts on Wednesday night but Lee is still suffering - so his band mates have tapped their longtime pal, Street Drum Corps star Frank Zummo, to play the next three gigs.

The Learning Curve: Music To Contemplate This Week

January 29th, 2009 10:54am EST
New Years Day
(The Learning Curve) There's literally something for everyone's palette. This week is a journey. Hit the dance floor with SS Nova and Blaqk Audio, whip out the air guitar with Lynam, jump in the mosh pit with Demon Hunter and then start singing along with New Years Day.

This week you might see some familiar faces in some of these bands, but still, they are worth a listen. The members that formed these bands sound little or nothing like their old calling cards, so make sure you take the time to listen.

Enjoy my friends.

May 14th, 2008 8:00pm EDT
Mariah Carey
"I don't have birthdays, I have anniversaries - I'm eternally 12 and that's part of the reason I'm late; because, as a 12 year old, how am I expected to get it together on time... It's in my DNA (to be late), I cannot help it." Mariah Carey attempts to explain why she was late for her first post-marriage TV interview on comedienne Ellen DeGeneres' chat show. The chat aired in America on Tuesday.

Ozzfest will be a one-day event in Dallas, Texas this summer. Ozzy Osbourne has declined to tour with the rock festival this year and will instead headline a single day event on August 9. Joini...

Jada Pinkett Smith
Jada Pinkett Smith has stalled filming scenes in the Adam Sandler comedy Empty City so she can concentrate on her heavy rock group's tour. The star signed up to film last month, but when Sevendust's U.S. tour was extended she chose to rock on with her group Wicked Wisdom, who are playing support on the road.

The actress says, "I just asked the film people to shoot later. They were cool with it. I've been acting a while now, so I've got a little more pull."
