But just as important as the performers are the award winners, and if you're in an office pool somewhere or on your way to Vegas and need a little help predicting the winners, you've come to the right place! (Well actually, if you're on your way to Vegas you ...

Producer Novel Feels Ripped Off By Joss Stone
Music producer Novel has vowed never to work with singer Joss Stone again after a dispute over songwriting credits. Novel, who has worked with Kelis and JC Chasez in the past, claims Stone reworked some of the songs they wrote together to ensure he received no credit on her third album Introducing Joss Stone.
He says, "She did a little bit of writing, but I wrote, produced, arranged, vocal arranged, did backgrounds. I was never paid for the songs - I just get my publishing.
"Now she has this record with (producer) Raphael (Saadiq) and they changed some of the songs. I got no produ...

Joss Stone Avoids A 'Mess' In Bahamas Studio
British soul star Joss Stone insisted on recording her new album in seclusion in the Bahamas because she didn't want to repeat her "messy" second CD. The singer booked into reggae legend Bob Marley's studio Compass Point with producer Raphael Saadiq to record Introducing Joss Stone and she's delighted with the way the album turned out.
She says, "If everybody's mind was involved then it would be (first album) The Soul Sessions again or (second album) Mind, Body & Soul, which was a complete muddled-up mess. It wasn't an album; it was a CD with a bunch of songs on it."

The sexy singer and Saadiq appear naked, in an embrace, with their bodies painted for the eye-catching shot - but Stone insists it's supposed to be an artistic statement, and nothing sexual.
Stone says, "It's a picture that everybody kind of looks at it sexually, but it isn't... He (Saadiq) is from Oakland, I'm from Devon, England; he is 40, I am 19; he is American, I'm English. It's, like, two completely diffe...

The Roots Release 'Best Of' Albums
A commercially successful, critics' darling is oftentimes an oxymoron in music. Then again, it should come as no surprise that the endlessly innovative hip-hop band, The Roots, have managed to accomplish both. They have sold over three million records since debuting with Organix in 1990. At the same time, they've won a Grammy for best rap performance by a duo or group in 2000 for "You Got Me," and kept fickle critics and their loyal fan base satisfied with groundbreaking experimentation that deftly mixes elements from rock, jazz, soul, house, and any other genre that will make the speakers ...
