Bob Dylan has hit the top of the US album charts for the first time in 30 years. The folk-rock icon's new album, Modern Times, has given Dylan his best sales week since Nielsen SoundScan began tracking data in 1991. The acclaimed new release sold 192,000 copies in its first week to easily take the top spot from rap mogul Sean 'Diddy' Combs' all-girl group Danity Kane.

Aerosmith, Cheap Trick & Others Collaborate on Monday Night Football Theme Song

Aerosmith star Joe Perry, Cheap Trick star Rick Nielsen and members of Bruce Springsteen's E Street Band have formed a supergroup with country maverick Hank Williams Jr. to pay tribute to American football.

The unnamed group, which also features fiddler Charlie Daniels and The Roots star ?uestlove, has recorded several versions of Williams' "All My Rowdy Friends Are Here On Monday Night," which will be used as the theme to cable sports channel ESPN's Monday Night Football coverage later this year.

Rapper/Producer J Dilla Dies At Age 32

Hip-hop producer and rapper J Dilla has died from the immune disease lupus. He was 32. The musician, real-name James Yancey, collapsed in his Los Angeles home on Friday (Feb. 10) and was found by his mother, his manager Timothy Maynor confirmed. The Detroit, Michigan-native was diagnosed with lupus - a condition where the sufferer's immune system goes into overdrive and attacks the body's healthy cells - three years ago in 2003.
