Ronnie is a new R&B/Pop recording artist, coming out with her debut album in the fall.
She was born with the gift of voice and over time has evolved into not only a sensational vocalist, but a songwriter and producer as well.
She is a Maryland resident of Nigerian descent. Born in Maryland but grew up in Nigeria listening to Pop, R&B, Country, Soul and Rap and describes her music as a fusion of R&B, Pop, Hip-Hop and Soul.
Her debut single is an infectious Pop and R&B tune entitled "Coming To Get Ya!", that you can't get out of your head once you give it a listen. You get pulled in at the intro and can't let go till the song is over.
Ronnie cites her influences as: Mariah Carey, Michael Jackson, Mary J. Blige, Janet Jackson and Whitney Houston. When asked what she hopes listeners will get from her music, she answers: "Empowerment". She describes her upcoming debut album as passionate, aggressive yet inspirational, sassy and laced with a tinge of humor and wit.
When she isn't keeping you on your toes, she's captivating you with that soothing yet powerful voice.
Her plans (from her base in the MD/DC/VA area)? Simple, to take the world with her on her journey. "We're going to have fun" she says, "lots of fun".
There is a void available to be filled with unique, music and sure enough, Ronnie promises one thing for certain, that she incorporates all the influences she had growing up to come up with music that is uniquely spiced and all her own.
