| Smokey Robinson has been all time favorite of mine since I was a little girl. It wasn't because I thought he was cute, it was because of his lyrics. He is a master of the King's English. If I am ever blessed to meet him he will know that I'm not just a fan but a fiend for his musical abilities. When people speak of him, they always select tunes that are popular, I pick those that that even some "fans" don't know. For instance, on his Smokey's Family Robinson album, the song "Do Like I Do", when he says and I quote,"When you're out with your friends and the coupling off begins and the heavy rappers start to hit on you, well if the question is romance , then let the answer be no chance you got to do like I do, recognize desire as a physical need that you can rise above, like I do and don't let a double "O" soul talk you going under cover" . The mastery and usagae of the language amazes me. Keep on Mr. Robinson writing and singing. Love You much. | ||

| i think smokey robinson has the greatest male voice ever recorded. his vocal rang is unbelievable. i love all of his songs because of the stories they tell. i have personally lived manynof them myself. i wish that one day he and sade would do a duet togther if that happened then my life would be complete | ||
