Johnny Borrell's debut album fails to hit 600 first-week sales

Actress Kristen Dunst's rocker ex Johnny Borrell has suffered a blow to his ego as he tries to establish himself as a solo star - only 594 people have bought his new album.

The former Razorlight star's Borrell 1 hasn't even made a dent in the British top 100 chart, according to NME.com.

By comparison, former The X Factor contestant Jahmene Douglas reached the top spot with his debut album of covers, Love Never Fails, which sold 19,000 copies last week (ends28Jul13).

British pop star Jessie J broke her hiatus from music on Saturday to perform a homecoming show at V Festival in her native Essex, England.

The singer scrapped a number of concerts this summer after breaking her foot, but she refused to let the injury stop her performing at the British music festival, which takes place over two legs in Stafford, north England and Chelmsford in Essex.

British rockers Razorlight have unveiled their new line-up, after two founding members quit the band last year.

Guitarist Bjorn Agren and bass player Carl Dalemo left the group when recording sessions for a new album proved "unproductive". The band has been hunting for two new members to replace them - and they've revealed the identity of the musicians in a post on their Facebook page.

Drummer Andy Burrows has quit British rockers Razorlight, citing "personal reasons". Burrows failed to show for Razorlight's U.K. show in Wolverhampton on Monday and had to be replaced by David 'Skully' Sullivan-Kaplan.

A teenager has died at Scottish music festival RockNess - the second in as many years. Eighteen year old Ryan Munro fell unconscious in front of the event's main stage on Sunday and was taken by ambulance to the local Raigmore Hospital in Inverness, where he was later pronounced dead.

Scottish police are understood to be looking into whether drugs played a part in Munro's collapse.
