Another golfer playing a round at the Peterculter Golf Club in Aberdeen was forced to put the animal out of its misery, according to Scotland's Daily Record.

But Knightley has refused to wallow in self-pity at home, and hit the streets of London for a night of sing-along fun with friends, including her The Edge of Love co-star Miller.

Shocking music deaths
Heart attacks. Plane crashes. Car crashes. Drug overdoses. Murder. Over the years, these have become some of the most common causes of the often shocking deaths in the music industry. On a lighter note, some might argue that even ham sandwiches have been involved.

Regardless of the cause, take a look back at these musical icons that have left us way, way, way too soon - yet have left us with legacies that will live on forever. The majority of these deaths, in addition to being sudden and shocking, were in some way either ironic or just completely messed up. Rock on...

Who says looks don't get you far? Certainly no one who watched last night as Kris Allen took the coveted title of American Idol Season 8 winner. After the announcement, he seemed as shocked as we all were and was left with very little to say.

How is it that Kris Allen was able to take home the grand prize when Lambert is clearly the stronger, more artistic and original singer? Well, Allen is simply more likable. Perhaps because of his looks or perhaps because he is the boy next door. As Lambert was by far the most original, "out of the box" contestant the show has ever seen, All...

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Kris Allen's smooth vocals and boy-next-door image propelled him to "American Idol" victory Wednesday, turning the theatrical powerhouse Adam Lambert into the most unlikely of also-rans.

It takes a cataclysmic event to derail Overrated/Underrated from its usual Friday spot. Currently the Oscars have been serving as that disruptive force, but this week interruption comes from the most unlikely source: a sports columnist from the Kansas City Star.

This is because Joe Posnanski has suggested on his blog that we stop voting artists into the Rock 'N' Roll Hall of Fame and shift our focus to Hall-Worthy songs. Songs he deems "Iconic". His criterion for including a song on the ballot is that it be "A song that represents a set of beliefs or a way of life. So, I see these s...

The show got off to an inauspicious start with two questionable auditions that were deemed good enough. The first was Tatiana Del Toro, a 23-year-old Puerto Rican, who had an OK voice and a less-than-OK fashion sense. The second was 29-year-old Jesus Valenzuela, who was completely forgettable. Strange that the second week would lead off with two non-showstoppers.
