British rapper Professor Green has been charged with drinking and driving following an arrest in London last year (Nov13).

The Read All About It hitmaker, real name Stephen Manderson, was charged on Tuesday (11Mar14) and is due to appear before magistrates on 20 March (14).

His legal trouble is related to an incident on 3 November (13), when he was arrested after calling the police to report an alleged mugging near his London home. British rapper Professor Green has taken aim at the editors of a popular U.K. magazine after they published a report suggesting his four-month marriage is already on the rocks.

The nightclub owned by British rapper Professor Green has closed its doors just five months after opening in London's Leicester Square.

The rapper, real name Stephen Manderson, opened nightclub Ink with 'mixologist' Gerry Calabrese in September (13), but he is now searching for a new home for his club after the owners of the property went into liquidation.

The club's owners announced the move to an as-yet-unknown location on the venue's official account, writing, "We are temporarily closed as we have left Leicester Square. We're moving to an exciting new venue."

Professor Green was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol (DUI) last weekend.
The 29-year-old rapper phoned the police in the early hours of Sunday morning (11.03.13) after he was mugged outside his house for his Rolex watch, but after officers turned up at the scene they found his Mercedes and a van had been involved in a collision, and later pulled him into custody on suspicion of drink driving.

British rapper Professor Green returned to the stage on Saturday night (22Jun13) for the first time since he was crushed between two cars in England last month (May13).

The musician, real name Stephen Manderson, was hospitalised after the accident and cancelled a number of gigs as he recovered from his injuries.

British rapper Professor Green has scrapped a performance in England on Friday night after he was injured in a traffic accident.

The musician, real name Stephen Manderson, was crossing the street on his way to Hartpury College in Gloucestershire when he was struck by two cars.

British rapper Professor Green is to undergo surgery after he was struck down with tonsillitis for the third time this year.

The I Need You Tonight hit-maker was diagnosed with the throat infection in March and was put on a course of antibiotics, but he continued his busy touring schedule and the condition flared up again a month later.

British rapper Professor Green has split from his on/off girlfriend, according to a U.K. report.

The "I Need You Tonight" hitmaker had been dating British TV actress Candy McCulloch, who stars in U.K. drama series Hollyoaks, for more than a year, but the pair broke up last December before reconciling a week later.

However, they have now gone their separate ways for good, according to Britain's News of the World.
