Kim Kardashian was left red-faced when Prince pulled her onstage in New York on Monday - she was so starstruck she couldn't dance.

The reality TV star was in the crowd at the legendary singer's Madison Square Garden show, and she got a special surprise when he plucked her from the audience and brought her up onstage. Prince tried to dance with Kardashian but the brunette beauty was unable to show off her moves because she was so shocked.

In a post on her Twitter.com page, she explained to fans, "I was so nervous I froze when Prince touched me!!!!"

Prince's Super Bowl Show Axed

A Super Bowl benefit show starring Prince and Erykah Badu was canceled shortly before it was due to begin on Friday after financial backing for the concert collapsed.

Fans flocked to buy tickets for TheEvent fundraiser, organised by The Goss-Michael Foundation, an arts group founded by British singer George Michael and his longtime partner, Kenny Goss.

Organisers of the gig, in Dallas, Texas, announced that the show had switched venues, before stunning concertgoers by axing the show altogether late on Friday.

Prince and Madonna have ended their decades-long feud after the pop star turned up to one of his recent New York concerts and cheered him on from the crowd.

The pop idols were close friends throughout the 1980s and briefly became lovers before teaming up to record the track "Love Song," from Madonna's 1988 album "Like a Prayer."

But they suffered a mystery fall-out and their relationship turned bitter as they took shots at one another through the media.

The Black Eyed Peas have crushed Kenny Chesney's hopes of headlining the 2011 Super Bowl half-time show after football bosses named the pop stars as next year's main act.

Earlier this year, Chesney threw his cowboy hat in the ring for consideration as a performer for the big game in Arlington, Texas after fans created a Facebook page online, called Kenny Chesney for Super Bowl 2011.

He told reporters: "I would love to do half-time at the Super Bowl. That'd be fun."

Representatives for Prince have demanded record label bosses remove the superstar's famous symbol from the cover of an upcoming Michael Jackson album.

The symbol, which the Purple Rain hit-maker once used as his stage name, mysteriously featured in the original artwork for Michael, which features a painted collage of pictures and icons.

Artist Kadir Nelson claims he based the design on "key moments and important people in Michael Jackson's life." But the glyph has now been removed after a request from Prince's camp.

R.E.M.'s Everybody Hurts is the song most likely to make men sob, according to a new British survey.

The tune beat Tears in Heaven - Eric Clapton's heartfelt tribute to his dead son - to top a new poll conducted by PRS for Music, an organization which collects royalties.

Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah was third and Sinead O'Connor was the only woman on the list at four with Prince-penned song Nothing Compares 2 U.

Also making the top 10: With or Without You by U2, The Verve's The Drugs Don't Work and Candle in the Wind by Elton John.

Editors of Spin are celebrating the monthly magazine's 25th year with countdowns of their top moments and concert highlights from the quarter-century, and they've crowned U2's 1991 album the best release.

Pop superstar Prince is in trouble with U.S. tax officials after allegedly failing to hand over nearly half a million dollars in payments.

Officials in the star's hometown of Minneapolis, Minnesota claim Prince and his PRN Music Corp. owe almost $500,000 in taxes, fines and interest relating to more than a dozen of the singer's properties in the area.

The Purple Rain hit-maker has been named in a list of delinquent tax payers by officials in Carver County, relating to missed payments from last year. The list was published in the Chaska Herald newspaper.

Pop superstar Prince has settled a lawsuit over a canceled gig in Ireland. The musician was hit with a $2.3 million suit after he reportedly pulled out of a show at Dublin's Croke Park in June 2008 just 10 days before the event.

Former Led Zeppelin star Jimmy Page will be among the headliners at the inaugural Show of Peace Concert in Beijing, China in April.

The guitar great will join Prince, Green Day, Beyonce Knowles, Coldplay and Justin Timberlake, among others, for the big show at the Bird's Nest stadium, where he performed with Leona Lewis during the finale of the last Olympic Games in 2008.

The concert marks the 30th anniversary of the cultural exchange agreement between the U.S. and China.
