Celebrities You May Not Know Have Chronic Illnesses
More than 65 million people worldwide have epilepsy, according to the Epilepsy Foundation. Medication can be effective, but millions of people with the disease continue having seizures for the rest of their lives.

Several celebrities have been diagnosed with Epilepsy, including some that may surprise you.

Prince told PBS's Tavis Smiley in a 2009 interview: "I used to have seizures when I was young. My mother and father didn't know what to do or how to handle it but they did the best they could with what little they had."

Prince Releases New Single, 'The Breakdown,' To Coincide With New Warner Bros. Deal (Listen)

Prince dropped a new single called "The Breakdown" shortly after announcing his new agreement with Warner Bros. Records on Friday.

The new deal sees the Purple One return to Warner after he split from the label 18 years ago and infamously changed his name to just a symbol to get out of his contract.

Prince will now have access to all of his master recordings dating back to 1978, which includes a newly remastered 30th anniversary edition of his classic album, "Purple Rain."

The singer also has a new album on the way called "Plectrum Electrum" with his new band, 3RDEYEGIRL.

Prince Drops $22 Million Lawsuit Against Fans Who Illegally Post
Prince has decided not to sue the 22 individuals who allegedly illegally posted footage of the singer's concerts online.

Prince filed lawsuits against nearly two dozen people (suing each for $1 million) earlier this month because they uploaded videos on websites such as Facebook without his consent.

According to TMZ.com, the singer has since changed his mind and filed documents in California to dismiss the lawsuit. However, he has the ability to refile the lawsuit in the future.

Prince has posted a video on Youtube of him performing with his all-female band 3RDEYEGIRL in Portugal.

The 55 year-old singer, who has been touring with the group, has given an insight into their live shows amid rumors they will head to the UK this year.

The video, lasting around three minutes, shows Prince singing his 2010 song Cause and Effect to a huge crowd at Coliseu De Lisboa in Lisbon in August.

Prince thrilled fans on his new Twitter account by revealing a preview of his new song "Breakfast Can Wait" - and attached to it was a photo featuring Dave Chappelle.

Chappelle performed a sketch titled True Hollywood Stories on Chappelle's Show, one of which featured Prince. The singer challenged one of Dave's writers, Charlie Murphy, to a game of pick-up basketball and served them pancakes afterwards.

First David Bowie, then Justin Timberlake and now Prince has returned wih his first single since 2010 and a couple of new web accounts.

The Purple One released a lyric video for his new single "Screwdriver" on a new website called 20pr1nc3.com on Tuesday. The lyrics are juxtaposed with video footage of the singer performing in the studio with his new band, consisting of guitarist Donna Grantis, drummer Hannah Ford, and bassist Ida Nielsen, according to Billboard magazine. Prince Plans Chicago Residency

Pop superstar Prince is planning another big city residency after taking over London, New York and Los Angeles in 2007 and 2011, respectively - and this time he has set his sights on Chicago, Illinois.

The shows at the Union Center, which will begin on September 24, will be the Purple Rain hitmaker's first concerts in the city for eight years.

At press time, it was not clear how many concerts Prince will perform - or whether there will be special guests.

Prince is using his Welcome 2 Chicago residency to support Rebuild the Dream, an organization seeking to help fix the U.S. economy.

Pop superstar Prince has been ordered to pay almost $4 million to perfume bosses who accused the singer of failing to promote a scent named after his album 3121.

Perfume and Cosmetics Inc. executives sued the Purple Rain icon for breach of contract in 2008, claiming he refused to market the fragrance after it was launched in July 2007.

Court referee Louis Crespo has awarded $3.95 million in damages to the firm following a four-day inquest in Manhattan, New York.

The hip-hop superstar joined the "Purple Rain" hitmaker onstage during the Way Out Festival performance as the pop star was working through a medley of hits.

Pop superstar Prince performed a surprise show in Holland on Sunday after scrapping concerts in Norway in light of the terror attacks.

Soul superstar Prince has been ordered to hand over more than $700,000 to his former attorneys for unpaid legal fees.

Lawyers at Patterson Belknap Webb & Tyler sued the Purple Rain hitmaker in March, accusing him of failing to pay for their handling of cases in Ireland, California and New York.

A judge at the Manhattan Supreme Court ruled last week that Prince must shell out $708,687 to the firm, plus nine per cent interest dating back to 2008.

According to the New York Daily News, the star had paid just $125,000 of his bill.
