Lisa Marie Presley Collapse Reports 'Completely Untrue'

A spokesperson for Lisa Marie Presley has spoken out to reassure fans the singer is in good health following reports she collapsed at her home in England.

A tabloid had reported that Elvis Presley's daughter had fallen ill after embarking on an extreme diet and losing over 50 pounds in the space of five months.

The star was said to have jetted back to the U.S. from her estate in the U.K. to receive emergency treatment.

But a spokesperson for Presley insists the star is well, and currently in Los Angeles to record her third album.

Bosses behind the Twilight movies have stepped up security to protect stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart at their shoot in Louisiana to make sure no over-zealous fans get near the set.

Elvis Presley's personal record collection is to go under the hammer at an auction in London. The King handed a stack of 26 discs, including tracks by Ray Charles, Fats Domino and Sammy Davis, Jr., to his guitarist and pal Scotty Moore in 1968 and asked him to transfer them to reel-to-reel tapes.

U2 drummer Larry Mullen, Jr. has landed a voiceover role in his favorite show after asking producers to consider him for a part.

The drummer will lend his voice to a pair of characters in the upcoming season of "The Cleveland Show" - a mobster and an Elvis Presley impersonator.

Show star Mike Henry, who voices the lead character, Cleveland, tells the BBC, "We just recorded him doing a couple of different parts and he was very funny."

This weekend a separate auction by the Profiles in History in Calabasas, near Los Angeles, featured a guitar played by Elvis during his final Las Vegas performance, which was sold for $106,200. The iconic white glove worn by Michael Jackson on his 1984 Victory tour sold for a staggering $66,000.
