My Chemical Romance Debuts New Video For 'Watchmen'; See It Here

The music video for My Chemical Romance's "Desolation Row" has finally made its North American debut. The song, a reinterpretation of the Bob Dylan classic, was recorded specifically for the upcoming feature film Watchmen. Watchmen: Music From the Motion Picture, which contains the song, is due from Warner Sunset/Reprise Records on March 3rd, three days before the film hits theaters nationwide.

The Stooges' Guitarist Found Dead

The Stooges guitarist Ron Asheton has been found dead at his Michigan home at the age of 60.

The rocker's personal assistant contacted police on Monday night after failing to reach the star for days, according to Detective Bill Stanford. Officers were sent to Asheton's house in Ann Arbor to investigate and discovered his body on a couch in the living room at around midnight on Tuesday.

Cops believe the star suffered a heart attack a few days previously, although the official cause of death has yet to be determined. Foul play has been ruled out, and autopsy and toxicology reports...

Katy Perry Gives Sculpture Of Her Breasts To Charity

Katy Perry has donated a sculpture of her bust to raise money for a breast cancer charity. The "I Kissed A Girl" hitmaker's chest mold will be painted by her boyfriend - Gym Class Heroes frontman Travis McCoy - and auctioned off in aid of the Keep A Breast Foundation's youth outreach program, according to E! Entertainment.

Bidding for the sculpture will open on November 26.

Other acts who have contributed to or painted busts for the sale - on auction website eBay - include Iggy Pop, Sonic Youth's Kim Gordon, and new wave rockers Devo.

The theft of Iggy Pop's tour equipment left cult act Grizzly Bear sheltering from a storm in their tourbus - because the punk icon trashed their dressing room after learning his gear was missing.

Grizzly Bear arrived in Montreal, Canada in the middle of a thunder storm on Tuesday, the day after Iggy Pop and the reformed The Stooges performed at the venue they were set to play as support to Radiohead.

Bear star Ed Droste tells Rolling Stone magazine he and his bandmates were told their dressing room had been destroyed by Iggy Pop.

The Stooges' Van Is Found

The stolen van belonging to punk icons Iggy Pop & The Stooges has been recovered - but the band's equipment has yet to be found.

The truck - containing the group's gear - was stolen outside their hotel after a concert in Montreal, Canada on Monday. And Canadian police have confirmed the vehicle has now been found abandoned a short distance from the place where it was stolen. But there is no sign of any of the items which were stored inside.

The rockers have launched a new website appealing for help in tracking down the missing equipment.

Scars on Broadway, the long-awaited collaboration between guitarist-frontman Daron Malakian and drummer John Dolmayan, both best known for their work in the multi-Platinum-selling, Grammy-winning band System of a Down, has signed with Interscope Records and will see their self-titled debut released on July 29.

With Malakian sitting in the Scars' producer chair, he and Dolmayan entered the studio last September, recorded nearly two-dozen songs for the album, and then whittled down the final track listing to 14 songs.

Universal Music To Release Rare Bob Marley And Jimi Hendrix Concert Recordings Online

Music lovers will soon be able to purchase internet downloads of rare concert performances by acts including Bob Marley and Jimi Hendrix - following a groundbreaking deal by Universal Music.

The record label successfully brokered an agreement with music website Wolfgang's Vault, whose owner, Bill Sagan, purchased scores of original recordings from late promoter Bill Graham. Graham died in 1991.

Universal Music's involvement with the site now means rare concert archives held by the label will be made available to the public for the first time.
