Rapper Pimp C's mother has confirmed her son died in his sleep. The UGK star - real name Chad Butler - was discovered lying on his bed by paramedics answering an emergency call at the Mondrian Hotel on Hollywood's Sunset Strip on Tuesday morning.

Pimp C, real name Chad Butler -- and one half of the rap duo UGK, was found dead in a hotel room this morning. He was 33.
