Fans shouldn't expect a repeat of Disney's bubblegum 1989 cartoon version about aquatic princess Ariel and talking crab Sebastian, however.
Coppola is thought to be planning a version in keeping with the original 1837 story, which sees the broken-hearted Little Merma...

April 24th, 2013 1:10pm EDT
Phoenix - Thomas Mars
Before the release of Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix, Phoenix were the best kept secret in music. The band had already released three fantastic albums, and with their third, It’s Never Been Like That being the most radio friendly of the bunch, it seemed like Wolfgang would finally be the album to break the group into the mainstream, and it in fact was. Singles “Lisztomania” and “1901” were huge hits, and the group secured spots headlining various music festivals and numerous late night television show appearances.

Four years after the release of Wolfgang, the follow up Bankrupt! is now out and i...

Photos From Coachella

April 19th, 2010 11:14am EDT
Coachella
The Coachella Valley Music And Arts Festival wrapped up yesterday in Indio, California. The three-day event included performance by Muse, Echo & The Bunnymen, Jay-Z, and Phoneix, for a total of 128 acts.

About 75,000 people attended the festival each day, not counting hundreds of backstage guests. There were horrific traffic jams in and out of the polo fields.

The most visually striking addition to this year's festival was a 150-foot-tall Ferris wheel that towered over the festival grounds and, with its lights, flashed and flared into the night.
