The many people who say Will Smith's I Am Legend may have noticed something unique about the monsters, namely that they sounded like no other creature to grace the film. That's because every snarl and growl was provided by former Faith No More and Mr. Bungle front man Mike Patton.

Prolific rocker Mike Patton has added movie star to his resume - he voices the creatures in new sci-fi movie I Am Legend. The former Faith No More frontman, who runs record label Ipecac and is a member of bands Tomahawk, Lovage, Fantomas and Peeping Tom, lends his trademark howl to the monsters in the Will Smith film.
