It's irrelevant what you may think of Steve Aoki…. Fanatic or foe, what you cannot deny is how instrumental Steve has been in helping define the emerging music and nightlife culture in the US today.

We put a lot of thought into who should make it into the "Top 10 Entertainers Of The Year" list of 2007, and it caused quite the debate among our friends and colleagues, particularly over who should occupy the top spot. Take a look:

Controversial rocker Peaches has joined the celebrity push to ban seal clubbing in her native Canada after agreeing to star in a new People For The Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) campaign. The Toronto, Canada, native will be pictured standing next to a photograph showing a hunter about to bludgeon a baby seal in the new ad. The picture bears the tagline 'Canada's Club Scene Sucks.'
