Hayley Williams to create hair colour line

Paramore singer Hayley Williams is sharing her love of wacky hair colours by creating her own range of dyes.

The punk pop star is known for her brightly-coloured coif, and has donned shades from vibrant orange to hot pink throughout her years as Paramore's frontwoman.

Williams is now teaming with hair dye company Manic Panic to create her own line of shades for fans to try out.

Paramore axe upcoming concert in New Zealand

Pop punks Paramore have given fans in New Zealand a disappointing start to 2014 after cancelling one of their upcoming concerts in the country.

The Still Into You hitmakers were booked to play gigs in Auckland on 19 January (14) and in Christchurch two days later (21Jan14), but the second show has since been scrapped.

A statement from promoters at Ticketek blamed the cancellation on "a change in the band's scheduling of activities which unfortunately necessitates the band departing earlier than previously planned".

Ticketholders for the axed gig have been offered full refunds.

Paramore to launch festival at sea

Rockers Paramore are set to hit the high seas with Tegan & Sara on the inaugural Parahoy! Cruise next spring (Mar14).

Paramore singer Hayley Williams confirmed reports suggesting her band was the latest to plan a festival at sea on Thursday (22Aug13).

The five-day event will depart from Miami, Florida on 7 March (13) and sail to the Caribbean.

They won't be the only cult rock act inviting fans to join them on a cruise next year - Weezer set sail with Cat Power and Toro Y Moi in February (14).

Acts are set to be added in the coming weeks for both at-sea events.

Paramore touring drummer injured in golf cart accident

Paramore's live drummer Miles Mcpherson is recovering after sustaining severe injuries in a golf cart accident on Friday (16Aug13).

The musician, who has also played with Kelly Clarkson, was behind the wheel of the buggy when he lost control and the vehicle flipped on top of him.

His wife and two pals were thrown from the cart, but McPherson suffered broken bones in his face and finger and also hurt his leg. He was admitted to the burn unit at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee, to receive treatment for skin on his face, shoulder and arms that was exposed to leak...

Paramore Plagiarism Lawsuit Dropped

Rockers Paramore have won a legal battle over their song The Only Exception after a plagiarism lawsuit brought by a Florida rock group was dropped.

A band called Tenspoke Indies filed suit against Paramore accusing the band of using portions of their song Starlighter in the 2010 hit.

The musicians cited copyright infringement and sought damages amid claims The Only Exception featured "introductions, arrangements, chord progression, key, melody, lyrical theme, rhythm and tempo" similar to Starlighter.

Songwriter Sues Over B.o.B.'s Track 'Airplanes'

B.o.B.'s hit single Airplanes is the subject of a lawsuit from a songwriter who claims she helped write the track but failed to receive a credit.

The hip-hop star found chart success in 2010 with the track which features Paramore singer Hayley Williams on vocals.

Songwriter Christine Dominguez has now filed suit against the song's producers, Jeremy Dussolliet and Tim Sommers, who work under the names Kinetics and One Love, suggesting she contributed to the song but was not given any recognition.

Paramore Announce 'Yard Sale' For Japan

Rockers Paramore are set to host a massive memorabilia sale to raise money for aid efforts in Japan.

The Paramore Yard Sale will feature more than 60 items, including musical equipment, clothes and accessories, and all the proceeds will be donated to the Red Cross to help in the aftermath of the earthquake and tsunami which devastated the country on March 11th.

Josh Farro has broken his silence following his split with rockers Paramore, revealing he and brother Zac decided to quit the band because they were sick of singer Hayley Williams landing all the limelight for their success.
