Rapper Remy Ma will marry long-term partner Papoose in prison next month. The hip-hop star - real name Remy Smith - faces 25 years in jail after she was found guilty of shooting of a woman outside a New York nightclub last year.

Born and raised in the notorious Bedford Stuyvesant section of Brooklyn, Papoose took his first jabs at being a rapper at the young age of 11. Given the name by his grandmother meaning "Indian baby", whom he resembled as a child, Papoose is the true definition of a real MC.

Jive recording artist and Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter Joe debuts at #1 this week on Billboard's R&B Albums chart with his new album, Ain't Nothin' Like Me.

Jive recording artist Joe will hit the road on a North American tour in support of his forthcoming album Ain't Nothing Like Me Due In Stores April 24. He will be joined by Brian McKnight and Sunshine Anderson. The 22 city tour will kick off on April 27 at the Paramount Theater in Oakland, CA.

BET announced today that Snoop Dogg, Ludacris, Young Jeezy, T.I. & Young Dro, The Game, Lil Wayne & Baby are set to perform at the 2006 "BET Hip-Hop Awards." The all-star roster of participants also includes multi-faceted entertainment mogul Diddy, top nominees Lupe Fiasco and Rick Ross, hip-hop diva Remy Ma, Jim Jones, Rhymefest, Sway, Papoose, DJ Scratch, DJ Drama, Saigon and Styles P.

Hip-shaker Shakira and the rejuvenated Red Hot Chili Peppers lead the field with seven noms each, followed closely by the majestic Madonna and upstart Las Vegas rockers Panic! at the Disco, both with five nods. Christina Aguilera is next with four.
