International pop sensation PSY has publicly shamed a lookalike who has allegedly been impersonating the rapper at the Cannes Film Festival.

This week, the Gangnam Style singer was said to have been spotted at a series of glitzy parties in Cannes, posing with fellow celebrities and walking red carpets, however Psy has now confirmed he is currently thousands of miles away in Singapore.

The South Korean pop star reveals his manager, Scooter Braun, spotted the fake Psy and insists festival organizers have been duped by a lookalike.

South Korean sensation Psy paid a visit to America's prestigious Harvard University on Thursday (09May13) to give a talk about his journey to becoming a pop culture phenomenon.

The rapper spoke at length to Ivy League students in Cambridge, Massachusetts, about finding fame around the world with his single Gangnam Style, which has become the most-viewed video in the history of YouTube.com.

Billie Joe Armstrong has given his opinion on Korean pop sensation PSY, calling the singer the "herpes of music."

The "Gangnam Style" singer was busy taking over the music charts last year while Armstrong was fighting substance abuse issues, and when PSY released second single "Gentlemen" earlier this year, it prompted a response from the Green Day frontman.
